Crochet belt diagrams and description. Crochet belt: diagram and description of a practical and beautiful product

Very often, knitted belts can be not only an obligatory part of a homemade coat, cardigan, sundress or long sweater, but also a completely independent accessory that will complement the look and give it individuality. The main thing is that the overall style of your outfit is supported and complemented. First you just need to decide on the general appearance of the product.

Knitting belt

There are many ways to knit a belt using knitting needles. There is nothing extremely complicated about this. In this article we will not give examples of the implementation of specific products with diagrams.

We will only try to give you a general idea of how and what kind of belts can be knitted using knitting needles.

Knitting equipment

So, if you have straight and double-edged knitting needles, as well as yarn, you can already try to knit a beautiful belt for yourself. Depending on what kind of belt you want, you can additionally purchase an elastic band, ribbon or strip of fabric, or a buckle if your future belt requires one.

Belt - ribbon

To begin with, we advise you to remember that the belt can be made as a regular ribbon of arbitrary width and length, tied with an elastic band. This belt-ribbon can simply be tied around the waist, tying it with a pillow knot or a one-sided bow.

Belt - ribbon

You can knit a wide ribbon with knitting needles from yarn with a large texture, providing it with voluminous patterns. Volumetric braids, ovals or diamonds will look good on such a product. Made vertically, when the product is placed at the waist, they will lie horizontally. It would be advisable to complement a belt of this type with a buckle that suits the style.

A belt decorated with a pattern of braids can be additionally decorated with a satin or silk ribbon of a matching color, intertwining the finished pattern with it. In addition, you can advantageously emphasize the beauty and individuality of the product with the help of beads, artificial stones and other decor.

Belt with double-sided stripe - tourniquet

The next version of the knitted belt, which we present to you, is a double-sided strip-plait. It can be knitted with either open or closed edges. In this case, a strip-tie with open edges can be further strengthened by threading a ribbon, cord or elastic band inside.

Making viscous strips with closed ends

This belt is made with double knitting.

To make a rope strip with closed edges, you need to cast an even number of loops on the knitting needles. Work begins with knitting the first loop and then every 2nd loop must also be knitted on the face. Slip the remaining stitches onto a working needle without knitting. Please note that unknitted stitches are purl stitches. They must be removed accordingly so that the working thread is in front of the loop being removed.

The row should end with a purl.

The next row and all subsequent ones repeat the first: you need to start knitting with a knit stitch, and end the row with a purl, that is, an unknitted loop.

This must be continued until the intended length of the product is reached. Then close all the loops.

Strip - a tourniquet with open ends

To make a rope strip with open edges, you need to immediately distribute the loops cast on at the beginning of the work equally onto two knitting needles, which are located parallel to each other.

The third knitting needle is working. In the first row, you need to knit the first loop from one knitting needle and remove the loop from the second knitting needle as a purl (the working thread is in front of the loop being removed).

By the end of the row, all stitches will be on the working needle.

Then knitting can be continued in the same way as when making a closed strip-bundle. Before closing the loops, it will be tedious to again distribute the loops on two knitting needles. Close off the loops on each knitting needle separately.

Another version of the belt, which must be done with double-sided knitting. It can be done using regular straight knitting needles. This knitting method is very suitable if you want to make a belt with a jacquard pattern.

Work process

In order to start working, you need to connect threads from two balls of different colors (for example, black and white) together and cast on the knitting needles the calculated number of loops with this kind of double thread, which will be the working one. In the first row, all white loops should be knitted on the face with a white thread, and black loops should be knitted on the wrong side with a black thread.

Belt with double-sided knitting - knitting process

Turning the work around, knit the other way around: black stitches with knit stitches and black thread, and white stitches with purl stitches and white thread. Having knitted 3-4 rows like this, you can start knitting the pattern.

In this case, you need to carefully monitor the alternation of colors. After just a dozen rows, the pattern will be clearly visible on both sides.

A belt made in this style can be tied with a knot at the waist or equipped with a beautiful buckle that matches the style.

Thin cord belt

The next option that we will offer you is a thin cord belt, hollow inside. Knitting it with knitting needles is also quite simple. It is enough to have a couple of double-edged knitting needles in stock.

Start knitting

To start working, you need to cast on the knitting needles from 3 to 6 loops. Knit all the cast-on stitches and move the work to the right edge of the knitting needle. Having wound the working thread from left to right, knit all the loops on the face again, move the knitting to the right edge... Continue in this way until the cord of the required length is ready.

End of knitting

At the end of knitting, all the loops can be closed and the ends of the product can be decorated simply by tying knots on them. Simple and at the same time original. For additional strength, you can optionally thread a strong cord inside such a belt.

Weaving a round cord belt

We cannot fail to mention one more method of weaving a round cord belt.

Knitting equipment

To perform it, you will need only one knitting needle, as well as a simple device that you can purchase at a specialized store or make yourself. The second is much simpler based on the fact that you can make such a device yourself for weaving a belt-cord of any thickness designed to work with any yarn.

Knitting process

To start working, you need to pull the free end of the thread through the ring.

Knitted accessories are increasingly becoming fashionable because they can be combined with clothes made from almost any material. There are especially many options for crocheting a belt. The patterns and descriptions are sometimes so simple that even a completely inexperienced knitter can handle them. In addition, the time and material costs are quite low, which is undoubtedly a plus when creating this spectacular and elegant yarn product.

Using yarn and a hook, you can knit a huge variety of belt options: narrow and wide, from thick fabric and lace, continuous knitting and from motifs. The main thing is to determine in advance whether the accessory will be worn on the dress or on trousers, choose the appropriate color and quality of yarn so that the future belt harmonizes perfectly with the outfit, complementing or refreshing it.

Ribbon lace

Ribbon lace is a very popular knitting method. You can use it to knit anything you like: a stole, tablecloth, dress, etc. It can also serve as finishing for the finished product. The easiest and fastest way, of course, is to knit belts with ribbon lace, which require very little yarn. But despite this, such a belt will look great on a summer dress or tunic; it can be threaded through the loops of trousers or jeans to add some zest. Let's look at the easiest way to create a narrow belt using the ribbon lace technique.

This product uses fairly dense yarn, but you can choose threads of medium thickness or thin ones. At the same time, the width of the belt itself will also decrease. You will need only 10 g of thread.

To get such a belt, follow this description:

  1. We knit a chain of 4 chain stitches.
  2. We knit 5 single crochets in the second loop of the chain.
  3. In the last loop we make 1 single crochet.
  4. Turn the finished product over to the reverse side and tie 1 loop for lifting.
  5. In the second single crochet we knit 5 of the same stitches.
  6. We knit 1 more single crochet in the third stitch.
  7. We turn the product again.
  8. We continue to knit, repeating the sequence.

Finally, we sew ties to the belt, which can look like just threads or laces and ribbons. If desired, decorate the product with beads or sequins.

You can find many similar knitting options for both narrow and wide belts. The video below shows only a small fraction of the methods for this type of knitting:

Crochet strap

You can crochet not only belts to decorate and complement your look, but also practical products designed to be worn on jeans and trousers to support them. Such straps are made of very stiff and thick threads, so that later when worn, the belt does not stretch or lose its shape, and they must be knitted in a certain way:

  1. A row of single crochets is knitted.
  2. Next, the fabric is turned over to the other side, and another row of single crochets is made, tying the previous one. The result is a fabric made from double single crochets.

These straps are also suitable for skirts made of thick fabric.

Rings on the belt

A belt made of tied rings looks very impressive and original, adding individuality and creativity to your look. This product will suit almost any outfit. It will perfectly complement your dress or tunic, tight jeans or classic trousers, a formal office shirt or a loose light blouse.

To knit such a belt you will need:

  • 100 g yarn.
  • hook suitable for the selected threads.
  • plastic rings.

Plastic rings can be purchased at a craft store or made yourself. The main thing is that they are dense and do not lose their shape.

Let's consider a method for making rings yourself:

  1. On plastic (the top of a plastic binder works well), using round stencils of the required diameter, draw a circle within a circle. One stencil should be larger, the second smaller, to make rings.
  2. Cut out the required number of circles with scissors.

Then you can start arranging them. To do this, you first need to tie half of the first ring with a single crochet from the center of the ring. You should get about 12 columns.

Having tied half of the circle, we attach the next ring to it and also tie half.

In this way, we collect all the rings to make a chain equal to the size of your waist. After attaching the last ring, you need to tie it entirely in a circle and continue to tie the remaining rings, not forgetting to make connecting loops in the first single crochet of each circle when completing the element.

When the main part of the belt is ready, you can sew braid or ties to it.

The rings can be connected both as shown in the previous photos and using patterned fabric or motifs.

To knit such a belt, you need, in the same way as in the previous master class, tie the first ring halfway with single crochets, then knit a chain of 20 chain loops, tie the next ring and continue knitting in this way until the length of the product is equal to the volume your waist.

You need to knit the final ring entirely and start knitting the pattern you like, connecting all the circles.

Video on the topic of the article

If you are planning to knit an original belt that no one else has, we suggest you watch the following videos:

Greetings! It happens that you need to crochet a simple belt for a dress or skirt. In such cases, beginners may find this post useful))

The belt is knitted easily and quickly. It is easy to size and easy to decorate. If you like it, I'll be glad.

For this description, I specially photographed it against a bright background.

In general, the belt came together when I was looking for something suitable with a peplum and a tight skirt. I had to try a dozen different options - factory-made ribbons and straps, knitted and woven belts. In the end, I decided to knit a simple ribbon-belt from “fans”.

Knitting a belt

Dimensions: belt 48 x 3 cm, + laces length 17.5 cm.

Legend:

P (loop),

VP (air loop),

SP (connecting p),

RLS (single crochet),

Hdc (half double crochet) - yarn over, insert the hook into the loop, pull the thread and knit all three threads lying on the hook together.

Sirloin mesh (* 2 P DC, 2 VP *, skip 2 loops of the previous row, repeat * *).

“Fans” - 5 Dcs in one “arch”

What I needed:

  • pekhorka yarn "Successful", 50g/220m, white;
  • hook No. 1.75;
  • buttons with a diameter of 1 cm - 8 pieces;
  • sewing needle and white thread for sewing on buttons.

You can choose other threads/hooks for them and decorate the belt to your taste.

I used mother-of-pearl plastic flower buttons for decoration. Sold in sets of 20 pieces. Flat in shape, i.e. The holes for sewing are located not like on buttons - in the center or on one of the sides, but along the side walls. This is very convenient when sewing. And they lie better, fitting more tightly to the product.

Brief instructions for calculating the size of the belt

The belt consists of a main - wide part adjacent to the product. And a narrow lace that regulates the volume (the length of the circumference).

This means that the cast-on row of loops is intended for the wide part of the belt. Therefore, you need to dial it in such a way that the ends of the belt do not meet “butt-to-end”. Otherwise, you will have to tie it not with laces, but with the belt itself (an unsightly thick knot will appear). For the lace, at the end of knitting, the “airs” are selected separately (i.e., they are not included in the cast-on row).

We calculate like this:

1 If you have the opportunity to try it on, take a chain from VP and attach it to your waist/hips (where you plan to wear the belt) so that the size of the belt is 10 centimeters shorter.

2 When knitting to a finished skirt/dress, subtract 10-15 loops from the total number in the product. Let's say I had 132 loops in my dress on the shelf. Therefore, I cast on 10 less loops, now the belt tightens the dress and is tied with laces.

Description of knitting belt

I dialed a “chain” of 122 VPs. I knit in a spiral.

1 r: VP, 122 P CCH = 122 p. (we do not include the air loop in the count)

2 r: VP, “loin mesh” to the end of the row. Continued along the opposite side of the belt symmetrically. There were 30 arches on each side (60 in total).

I unroll the knitting, i.e. I knit in the opposite direction.

3 p: VP, SP into the jumper between two P SSN prev. row, 1 “fan” in the arch of 2 VPs previous. R*.

She continued in a circle. I finished it with 2 SPs in the side loops, I didn’t cut the thread.

Laces

From the edge where I finished knitting the belt, I made a “chain” of 50 VPs. I knit in the opposite direction (i.e. towards the waistband): VP, 50 hdc. I secured the ends of the thread and cut them off.

I tied a thread from the other edge of the belt and repeated in the same way. The ends of the laces themselves begin to curl slightly into “lamb” shapes))

I marked 8 “fans” from the edge, sewed flower buttons every two “shell fans”. There are the same number of free fans left on the opposite side.

I needed a plain belt. Although, of course, it looks even better made from bright yarn. Having a ready-made description at hand makes it easier to experiment and create. What, in fact, is it prepared for?

I wish you easy loops and a cheerful mood!

Best regards, Saule Vagapova

Good afternoon, dear needlewomen! Today I would like to tell you about crocheting a belt. Not just tell, but show a master class on making beautiful belts. It's summer now and this information will be very relevant. Finally, I'll also provide some links to interesting knitting tutorials on other sites. This is an updated entry and the master class is already abundantly presented on the Internet. The author, in my opinion, is Tanya Sulzhenko, link here

http://s30987451345.mirtesen.ru/blog/43908102119/Poyas-kryuchkom.-Master-klass.

So let's get started. And at the very beginning of our creative journey we will need plastic rings. We take what we want. We will “dance” around them.

We tie our rings first to half. We knit the connection between the rings with an air chain.

We make the length of the belt according to our size.

After the desired length is knitted on one side, we begin tying the second side of the rings.

As a result, we will have such a thin belt.

Now we simply tie the rings with any pattern in a circle. Here you can also follow the principle of stages and knit first one half of the belt, and then the other.

This is the kind of openwork belt we will get.

Finally, we tie the straps for the fastener. Our belt is ready!

Well, these are the belts in their finished form. Create and be irresistible! Good luck with your crafting!

Knitted belt models

A good idea to update your summer wardrobe is to knit several belts of different colors to match different clothes and combine them.

Wide openwork belt with patterned edges

The belt is secured along the back with light ribbon ties. An elegant corset model will creatively decorate feminine dresses; thanks to its expressive black color, it will effectively emphasize a flexible waist and seductive curves of the figure.

Stable openwork belt

made of black threads with a compact glossy clasp, the smooth curls of the patterns are emphasized by curly scatterings of shining beads. Such a successful model will favorably emphasize and visually narrow the waistline and play on the contrast of colors. It was knitted by Natalya from Voronezh (Country of Mothers).

Vita Lily yarn was used (composition: 100% mercerized cotton, 50 g -125 m). Hook No. 3.5. It took a little more than a skein.

A laconic example of a classic tight belt

with a copper buckle, notable for its uniform pattern with alternating rows of holes, allowing it to be easily adjusted in length.

A stylish knitted belt is an original, practical accessory that uniquely decorates not only jeans and shorts, but also classic trousers and summer skirts. The author of this knitted belt is Alena from the Country of Mothers.

Here is the diagram for this belt:

Incredibly delicate white belt

with exquisite crocheted details, it delights with voluminous decor - graceful flowers and fantasy compositions with flirty threads of pendants.

A carefree belt looks harmonious with democratic jeans and feminine skirts, adding cute playful notes to the image.

Women's belt crocheted from melange yarn.

A cute openwork belt in cheerful and positive colors, notable for its tapering edges, is tightened and secured at the waist or hips with a simple flower buckle.

An attractive decoration will brightly enliven monochromatic outfits - not only on trousers or skirts, but also over summer tunics and blouses.

Belt length 83 cm.

To knit a belt we will need: 100 g of fine melange cotton yarn (500 m/100g); 50 g thicker golden faux yarn (100 m/50 g)

How to knit a belt:

You need to fold together 1 thread of fine yarn and 2 threads of golden yarn (you get 3 threads). Next, knit a chain of 5 chain stitches (2 chain stitches and 3 chain stitches in rise) and knit according to the pattern, swapping the pineapples in the pattern, as shown in the diagram. When 7 pineapples are ready, we then knit like this: 10 sc in a row 6 cm long on one side and 10 sc in a row 9 cm long on the other side. Fold the tip of the 6 cm long belt in half, thread a buckle through the end, and sew it on the wrong side.
