This standard applies to paper abrasive sand intended for abrasive processing of various materials without cooling or using cutting fluids based on oil, kerosene, and mineral spirits.

1. TYPES AND SIZES

1 1. Sanding paper should be made of types;

1 - aphids for machine and manual processing of non-metallic materials (wood, leather, rubber, plastic, etc.);

2 - for machine and manual processing of metals and alloys.

1 2. Sanding paper should be produced in rolls, the dimensions of which are indicated in the table. 1.

1.3. Sanding paper must be made with the following types of working layer:

C - solid;

R - relief.

2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

2.1. The abrasive paper must be manufactured in accordance with the requirements of this standard.

2.2. The abrasive paper must be made from the abrasive materials specified in table. 3.

2 3. For the manufacture of sanding paper, paper in accordance with GOST 18277-72, GOST 10127-75 and industry normative and technical documentation for paper should be used as a basis in accordance with Table. 4.

Note that on the working surface of silicon carbide and electrocoated paper and sandpapers of 6-"U40 grain size, spot adhesive formations or inclusions protruding above the working surface are allowed.

2.13. The cutting ability of the sanding paper under the test conditions specified in the mandatory Appendix 2 must correspond to the values ​​​​specified in table. 8a.

3. ACCEPTANCE RULES

3.1. To ensure that the abrasive paper complies with the requirements of this slate, acceptance inspections and periodic tests should be carried out.

3.2. Acceptance control for compliance with the requirements of paragraphs. 1.2, 2.7.1, 2.7.2 and 2 73 must be subjected to at least 1% of rolls of abrasive paper from the batch, but not less than 3 pieces, according to 1.4; 1.5; 2.12 and 2.13 - 0.1%, but not less than 3 pcs.

3.4. Products (one of the sizes of pellets) that have passed the acceptance control (according to clause 3-2) must be subjected to periodic testing for compliance with the requirements of clauses 2-8 and 2-10 0.5%, but not less than 3 pieces, clauses 2-9 and 2-1 I 0.5% sanding paper, grit 40; 8, 5 and L\40, but not less than 3 pcs., item 2 9 - on all types of bases.

4. CONTROL AND TEST METHODS

4.1-4.1.2. (Excluded, Amendment No. 2).

4.2. The dimensions and external defects of the working surface are measured using a measuring metal line according to GOST 427-75 or a measuring metal roll according to GOST 7502-89.

4.2.1. The angle of inclination of the relief is measured using universal measuring instruments or a special template.

4.3. The uneven thickness of the skin is measured by micrometers

type M1\ (with a permissible error limit of ±0.01 mm) at a distance of at least 10 mm from the edge of the roll.

4.5. To determine the moisture content of the sanding paper, three samples measuring 100x100 mm are selected and weighed on technical scales with a permissible error limit of ±0.01 g. The sanding paper samples are placed in a drying cabinet and dried at a temperature of (100±5)°C until the difference between two consecutive weighings will not exceed 0.02 g.

The moisture content of the sanding paper is determined by the difference in mass before and after drying and is calculated as a percentage of the original mass.

4.6. The reduced wear of the sanding paper (the ratio of the grain size of the sanding paper to its shedding) is determined on the K3IJI VNIIASH device by rubbing the sandpaper against the sandpaper for 2 minutes at a load of 29.4 N.

Two samples of sanding paper measuring 396X50 mm and 520X50 mm are tested.

Samples are weighed on technical balances with a permissible error limit of ±0.05 g.

4.7. The method for determining the cutting ability of abrasive paper is given in mandatory Appendix 2.

4.8. Determination of the tensile strength of the abrasive paper is carried out according to GOST 13525.1-79 except paragraphs. 3.1 and 4.1 at ambient temperature. The maximum deviations in the dimensions of samples for ispapia should be ±1.0 mm.

5. LABELING, PACKAGING, TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE

5.1. On the non-working surface of a roll of sanding paper every (235×20) mm longitudinally and every

(200±20) mm in the transverse directions should be applied:

trademark of the manufacturer;

symbol (except for the type and indication of the type of working layer);

batch number.

5.3. Winding the sanding paper into rolls should be smooth and dense, with the working layer facing outward, preventing the formation of wrinkles, folds and crumpled places.

The end surface must be flat, the protrusions of the edges of a roll up to 1250 mm wide should not exceed 5 mm, and over 1250 mm wide - 10 mm.

5.4. Each roll of sanding paper must be wrapped in a double layer of paper in accordance with GOST 18277-72, GOST 2228-81 or GOST 10127-75. "

METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE CUTTING ABILITY OF GRINDING

1. Essence of the method

The method is based on a certain mass of plexiglass sanded with a sample of sanding paper during the test.

2. Eq uipment and materials

2.1. Diagram and description of the MI-2 type device - according to GOST 426-77.

2.2. Samples of abrasive paper with outer diameter (174rb3) mm and hole diameter (55±3) mm

2.3. Plates made of organic glass of the TOSN brand - in accordance with GOST 17622-72.

2.4. Linings made of rubber hardness Shore 60 - 80.

2.5. Adhesive grades BF-2 and BF-4 in accordance with GOST 12172-74 or other grades that ensure the strength of the connection of organic glass plates with a carved gasket - ■ according to regulatory and technical documentation

3. Preparation for testing

3. ACCEPTANCE RULES

3.2. Acceptance control for compliance with the requirements of paragraphs. 1.2, 2.7.1, 2.7.2 and 2.7.3 must be subjected to at least 1% of rolls of sanding paper per batch, but not less than 3 pcs., according to paragraphs. 1.4; 1.5; 2.12 and 2.13 - 0.1%, but not less than 3 pcs.

4. CONTROL AND TEST METHODS

4.2. The dimensions and external defects of the working surface of the sanding paper are measured with a measuring metal ruler in accordance with GOST 427-75 or a measuring metal tape in accordance with GOST 7502-89.

4.2.1. The angle of inclination of the relief is measured using universal measuring instruments or a special template.

4.3. The unevenness of the skin thickness is measured with an MK type micrometer (with a permissible error limit of ±0.01 mm) at a distance of at least 10 mm from the edge of the roll.

4.4. Calculation of the coefficient of application of abrasive material to the base TO n is given in the mandatory Appendix 1.

4.5. To determine the moisture content of the sanding paper, three samples measuring 100 x 100 mm are taken and weighed on technical scales with a permissible error limit of ±0.01 g. Two samples of sanding paper measuring 395´50 mm and 520´50 mm are tested.

Samples are weighed on technical balances with a permissible error limit of ±0.05 g.

4.8. Determination of the tensile strength of the abrasive paper is carried out according to GOST 13525.1-79 except paragraphs. 3.1 and 4.1 at ambient temperature. The maximum deviations in the dimensions of test specimens must be ±1.0 mm.

1. Types and sizes

1.1. Sanding paper should be made of the following types:

1 - for machine and manual processing of non-metallic materials (wood, leather, rubber, plastic, etc.);

2 - for machine and manual processing of metals and alloys.

1.2. Sanding paper should be produced in rolls, the dimensions of which are indicated in the table. 1.

2. Technical requirements

2.1. The abrasive paper must be manufactured in accordance with the requirements of this standard.

2.2. The abrasive paper must be made from the abrasive materials specified in table. 3.

2.7.1. On the working surface of sanding paper with a continuous working layer, the total area of ​​wrinkles, folds, areas without abrasive grains, filled with a binder, should not exceed 0.5% of the roll area.

2.7.2. On the working surface of the sanding paper with a relief working layer, the total area of ​​defects (merging and non-printing) of the relief layer per 1 m2 should not exceed 5% of the area of ​​the roll with the applied abrasive material.

3. Acceptance rules

3.1. Acceptance inspection and periodic testing should be carried out to verify that the abrasive paper meets the requirements of this standard.

3.2. Acceptance control for compliance with the requirements of paragraphs. 1.2, 2.7.1, 2.7.2 and 2.7.3 must be subjected to at least 1% of rolls of abrasive paper from the batch, but not less than 3 pieces, according to paragraphs. 1.4; 1.15; 2.12 and 2.13 - 0.1%, but not less than 3 pcs.

3.1, 3.2. (Changed edition, Amendment No. 2).

3.2.1. The batch must consist of abrasive paper of one specification, produced in one shift and simultaneously presented for acceptance according to one document.

3.3. If during acceptance control it is determined that there is non-compliance with the requirements of the standard for more than one controlled indicator, then the batch is not accepted.

3.3.1. If non-compliance with the requirements of the standard is established for one of the controlled indicators, then repeated control is carried out on a double number of rolls of skins.

4. Control and testing methods

4.1-4.1.2. (Excluded, Amendment No. 2).

4.2. The dimensions and external defects of the working surface of the sanding paper are measured with a measuring metal ruler in accordance with GOST 427 or a measuring metal tape in accordance with GOST 7502.

4.2.1. The angle of inclination of the relief is measured using universal measuring instruments or a special template.

4.3. The unevenness of the skin thickness is measured with an MK type micrometer (with a permissible error limit of ±0.01 mm) at a distance of at least 10 mm from the edge of the roll.

4.4. Calculation of the coefficient of application of polished material on the base Kn is given in the mandatory Appendix 1.

4.5. To determine the moisture content of the sandpaper, three samples measuring 100x100 mm are taken and weighed on technical scales with a permissible error limit of ±0.01 g. The sandpaper samples are placed in a drying cabinet and dried at a temperature of (100±5)°C until the difference between two consecutive weighings will not exceed 0.02 g.

The moisture content of the sanding paper is determined by the difference in mass before and after drying and is calculated as a percentage of the original mass.

4.6. The reduced wear of the sanding paper (the ratio of the grain size of the sanding paper to its shedding) is determined on the KZSh VNIIASH device by rubbing the sandpaper against the sandpaper for 2 minutes at a load of 29.4 N.

Two samples of sandpaper measuring 395x50 mm and 520x50 mm are tested.

Samples are weighed on technical scales with a permissible error limit of ±0.05 g.

Notes:

1. The shedding of the sanding paper is equal to the mass of the crumbling working layer in a given time interval under given conditions.

2. When calculating the reduced wear for grain size M63; M50 and M40 in the numerator are taken accordingly to the numbers 5; 4 and 3.

4.7. The method for determining the cutting ability of abrasive paper is given in mandatory Appendix 2.

4.8. Determination of the tensile strength of the abrasive paper is carried out according to GOST 13525.1 except paragraphs. 3.1 and 4.1 at ambient temperature. The maximum deviations in the dimensions of test specimens must be ±1.0 mm.

4.9. Samples for control according to paragraphs. 4.1-4.8 are taken from any place on the roll that is at least 10 mm away from the end of the roll or edges. Value of indicators according to paragraphs. 4.3 and 4.5-4.8 is taken as the arithmetic mean of the three definitions.

5. Labeling, packaging, transportation and storage

5.1. On the non-working surface of the roll of abrasive paper, every (235±20) mm in the longitudinal and every (200±20) mm in the transverse directions must be applied:

symbol (except for the type and indication of the type of working layer);

batch number.

Notes:

1. When using a mixture of abrasive materials, mark the brand of the main abrasive material in the symbol; when using a mixture of grits, mark the main grit.

2. By agreement with the consumer, the roll dimensions may not be indicated.

5.2. Bundle markings:

5.3. Winding the sanding paper into rolls should be smooth and dense, with the working layer facing outward, preventing the formation of wrinkles, folds and crumpled places.

The end surface must be flat, the protrusions of the edges of a roll up to 1250 mm wide should not exceed 5 mm, and over 1250 mm wide - 10 mm.

5.4. Each roll of sanding paper must be wrapped in a double layer of paper in accordance with GOST 18277, GOST 2228 or GOST 10127.

The roll must be sealed at the joint. Layers of packaging paper should cover the ends of the roll and ensure its safety during transportation.

3. ACCEPTANCE RULES

3.1. Acceptance inspection and periodic testing should be carried out to verify that the abrasive paper meets the requirements of this standard.

3.2. Acceptance control for compliance with the requirements of paragraphs. 1.2, 2.7.1, 2.7.2 and 2.7.3 must be subjected to at least 1% of rolls of abrasive paper from the batch, but not less than 3 pieces, according to paragraphs. 1.4; 1.15; 2.12 and 2.13 - 0.1%, but not less than 3 pcs.

3.1, 3.2. (Changed edition, Amendment No. 2).

3.2.1. The batch must consist of abrasive paper of one specification, produced in one shift and simultaneously presented for acceptance according to one document.

3.3. If during acceptance control it is determined that there is non-compliance with the requirements of the standard for more than one controlled indicator, then the batch is not accepted.

3.3.1. If non-compliance with the requirements of the standard is established for one of the controlled indicators, then repeated control is carried out on a double number of rolls of skins.

If there are defects in the re-sampling, the batch will not be accepted.

3.4. Products (one of the roll sizes) that have passed the acceptance control (according to clause 3.2) must be subjected to periodic testing for compliance with the requirements of clauses. 2.8 and 2.10 0.5%, but not less than 3 pcs., pp. 2.9 and 2.11 0.5% rolls of sandpaper, 40 grit; 8; 5 and M40, but not less than 3 pcs., clause 2.9 - on all types of substrates.

3.5. Periodic testing must be carried out at least once a year.

4. CONTROL AND TEST METHODS

4.1 - 4.1.2. (Excluded, Amendment No. 2).

4.2. The dimensions and external defects of the working surface of the sanding paper are measured with a measuring metal ruler in accordance with GOST 427-75 or a measuring metal tape in accordance with GOST 7502-89.

4.2.1. The angle of inclination of the relief is measured using universal measuring instruments or a special template.

4.3. The unevenness of the skin thickness is measured with an MK type micrometer (with a permissible error limit of +/- 0.01 mm) at a distance of at least 10 mm from the edge of the roll.

4.4. The calculation of the coefficient of application of abrasive material to the base is given in the mandatory Appendix 1.

4.5. To determine the moisture content of the sanding paper, three samples measuring 100 x 100 mm are taken and weighed on technical scales with a permissible error limit of +/- 0.01 g. The sanding paper samples are placed in a drying cabinet and dried at a temperature of (100 +/- 5) °C until the difference between two consecutive weighings does not exceed 0.02 g.

The moisture content of the sanding paper is determined by the difference in mass before and after drying and is calculated as a percentage of the original mass.

4.6. The reduced wear of the sanding paper (the ratio of the grain size of the sanding paper to its shedding) is determined on the KZSh VNIIASH device by rubbing the sandpaper against the sandpaper for 2 minutes at a load of 29.4 N.

Two samples of sandpaper measuring 395 x 50 mm and 520 x 50 mm are tested.

Samples are weighed on technical balances with a permissible error limit of +/- 0.05 g.

Notes. 1. The shedding of the sanding paper is equal to the mass of the crumbling working layer in a given time interval under given conditions.

2. When calculating the reduced wear for grain size M63; M50 and M40 in the numerator are taken accordingly to the numbers 5; 4 and 3.

4.7. The method for determining the cutting ability of abrasive paper is given in the mandatory Appendix 2.

4.8. Determination of the tensile strength of the abrasive paper is carried out according to GOST 13525.1-79 except paragraphs. 3.1 and 4.1 at ambient temperature. The maximum deviations in the dimensions of test specimens must be +/- 1.0 mm.

4.9. Samples for control according to paragraphs. 4.1 - 4.8 are taken from any place on the roll that is at least 10 mm away from the end of the roll or edges. Value of indicators according to paragraphs. 4.3 and 4.5 - 4.8 is taken as the arithmetic mean of the three definitions.

5. LABELING, PACKAGING, TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE

5.1. On the non-working surface of the roll of abrasive paper, every (235 +/- 20) mm in the longitudinal direction and every (200 +/- 20) mm in the transverse direction must be applied:

symbol (except for the type and indication of the type of working layer);

batch number.

Notes. 1. When using a mixture of abrasive materials, mark the brand of the main abrasive material in the symbol; when using a mixture of grits, mark the main grit.

2. By agreement with the consumer, the roll dimensions may not be indicated.

5.2. Bundle markings:

5.3. Winding the sanding paper into rolls should be smooth and dense, with the working layer facing outward, preventing the formation of wrinkles, folds and crumpled places.

The end surface must be flat, the protrusions of the edges of a roll up to 1250 mm wide should not exceed 5 mm, and over 1250 mm wide - 10 mm.

5.4. Each roll of sanding paper must be wrapped in a double layer of paper in accordance with GOST 18277-72, GOST 2228-81 or GOST 10127-75.

The roll must be sealed at the joint. Layers of packaging paper should cover the ends of the roll and ensure its safety during transportation.

5.6. Each packaged roll must be labeled or stamped with the following information:

manufacturer's trademark;

symbol;

release date and batch number;

technical control stamp;

image of the state Quality Mark according to the NTD for sanding paper, which has been assigned the state Quality Mark in accordance with the established procedure.

METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE CUTTING ABILITY OF GRINDING FILTH

1. Essence of the method

The method is based on determining the mass of organic glass sanded off by a sample of sandpaper during the test.

2. Equipment and materials

2.1. Diagram and description of the MI-2 type device - according to GOST 426-77.

2.2. Samples of sanding paper with an outer diameter of (174 +/- 5) mm and a hole diameter of (55 +/- 3) mm.

2.3. Plates made of organic glass of the TOSN brand - in accordance with GOST 17622-72.

2.4. Linings made of rubber hardness Shore 60 - 80.

2.5. Adhesive grades BF-2 and BF-4 in accordance with GOST 12172-74 or other grades that ensure the strength of the connection of organic glass plates with a rubber gasket - according to regulatory and technical documentation.

3. Preparation for the test

3.1. Glue the plates onto the rubber pads.

3.2. First grind new organic glass plates under test conditions until signs of wear appear on the entire working surface of the plates, clean from dust and weigh with a permissible error limit of +/- 0.01 g.

4. Conducting the test
